3'S ABOUT ME

Here is another meme that I got from Petula. I still have time on my hands to get it done so let's not waste time.

Three jobs I've had in my life: room attendant (hotel), cashier at grocery store, now call center agent

Three places I have lived: New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, Nova Scotia (Canada)

Three shows that I watch: Grey' Anatomy, General Hospital, Jon and Kate plus 8

Three places I have been: Florida, Montreal, Newfoundland

Three places I have been this week: mall, mall and dance school (all around here)

Three people who e-mail me regularly: Amanda, Jenn, hubby

Three of my favorite foods: Chinese, donairs from pizza joint, spegetti

Three places I'd rather be right now: In my bed, somewhere warm, with my family back home

Three things I am looking forward to this year: spending time with my kids, my trip to New York with my daughter for dance and making extra money with my new job! It is going to be a busy year!

I SURVIVED!

Yesterday I started my first day of training with my new job. It was great! I trained from 4:30-11pm, what a difference being away from home and interacting with adults. The training went well and I have a feeling was I have the experience and comfort level behind me that I am absolutely going to love my job. What I will be doing after the training is taking catalogue orders from Gumps catalogue. Most of the items are really pricey but on the other hand really nice! And OMG I have never seen a business so layed back, the dress code is casual! If I want to wear jeans every day then that is what I wear :0) The scheduling is great and very accommodating so it shouldn't be a problem to work around all or at least most of my husbands hours. So I have the day to get things cleaned up around the house then back to work for 4:30pm, hopefully tonight goes as well as last night!

Now before I headed to work yesterday we had a busy morning. My son is now 12 years and started his first year in Junior High so I thought it was time to give his bedroom a new look and part of this was getting him out of his twin size bed. So while searching through Kijiji on the Internet (classified ads) I came across a queen size mattress and box spring along with the headboard and rails, high boy dresser and long six drawer dresser with mirror! The set is only 5 years old and pretty good shape and we got it all for $200! So we went in and picked it up yesterday morning then when we got home I had my work cut out for me. I switched and gave Kohl Jay's old mates bed and got his room organized, then started putting Jay's room together. Everything fit and his room looks great, he just needs new bedding to fit but he will have to wait for Christmas. I found a great comforter set in the Sears catalogue that looks like a more grown up version of his army camo and I think it will be perfect for him. So with all that going on yesterday I still managed to make it to work early but I have lots of cleaning to get done today.
Hubby was suppose to be on his vacation from work this week but with the District Manager and District VP coming for a visit tomorrow he felt he needed to go in and get the store in tip top shape for the tour, oh well I am hoping that when I need him to take a day off so that I can work a shift that he can use his days then.

Ok I think I rambled on enough here and now it's time to visit all of you!

I must have been crazy

Sunday the kids got together and played army in the house, now normally I don't encourage the kids to run around the house but they put a lot of effort into getting prepared. They built guns out of mega bloks and lego and terrorized the house. Trinity wanted to get in on the action but the boys weren't so sure they wanted a girl in on their fun so they put a condition on her, she had to have camoflage to play thinking she didn't have any. Well it just so happened that she does have a grey/black camoflage t'shirt so tough luck boys. I was surprised because it didn't end in someone crying, hense why I normally don't allow them to run. After about an hour they just decided to go onto other activities.

BLOGGITY BLOG TAG

This blog has been bloggity blog tagged.

The rules:

1. Write about 5 specific ways blogging has affected you either positively or negatively
2. link back to the person who tagged you Jenn, My Kids Are My World
3. link back to this parent post: tag post
4.tag a few friends or five, or none at all
5. post these rules— or just have fun breaking them!

1.To be honest, when I first got started with blogging it was simply for the extra income from paid posting which has been great and has made me quite a bit of money but who would have thought that I would have made some really great blogging friends. You guys truly are the best!

2. Blogging is where I can be myself! Say what I need to say, help others, get help from others. What a great feeling to be so free and open.

3. With some help through some really great friends I have managed to get focused on my health. I started exercising and watching what I was eating and managed to lose weight and reach my goal. It will always be an ongoing struggle to keep the weight off but with the support and motivation from all of you I know I can continue to maintain.

4. One of my favorite blogs is my Let them be little family blog. This is where I keep my family updated on the kids and what they have been up to. Dancing, Bowling, camping, a day at the park, just funny faces, Birthday wishes and the list goes on. Living so far from family is hard but this seems to help bridge the gap between us.
With me going back to work tomorrow after 4 1/2 years my main focus will be my family blog so feel free to add this blog to your blogroll because chances are that is where you will find me!

5.For the down side of blogging....well there really isn't a down side! There are many days when I don't have enough time to blog hop and then there are days that I spend most of my time on my laptop and don't get much done....like today lol I have a bathroom tore apart needing to be painted, clothes to get alterations done for tomorrow, need to go pick up some groceries, house to clean and I am sitting here doing this meme. First things first, Jenn tagged me for this meme so I am going to get it done! that 's what friends are for right/! lol
Thanks Jenn for this meme! It gave me some time to sit and remember of why I enjoy blogging and why I should find the time to keep with it while working. I don't know what I would do without friends like you!

MY LAST DAY UNEMPLOYED...

Well this is it, tomorrow I go back to work so I will be taking advantage of today and getting some work done around the house! This morning we have started the main floor bathroom. The cabinets have a fresh coat of white paint, new hinges and knobs, just those small changes have made a big difference. Next we are painting the walls from a cream color to a light brown tone with white moldings.
I think that while hubby is busy painting I will get my clothes ready for tomorrow. I have 2 pairs of dark jeans that I have to take in the waiste and my black dress pants need hemmed. If I am going to have something to wear tomorrow I guess I should get it done. If all goes well I am hoping to have a nap this afternoon, I'm sure working late is going to be an adjustment for me but a lot better than getter up early.
And I still have to remember to get done a meme from Jenn!

Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

I'M PUSHING IT TO THE LIMIT....

I feel completely worn out and will try to take the rest of the afternoon to get some rest. My cold is almost gone now, I just need some sleep. Monday I start my new job working evenings so I won't be able to get to bed early like I am use to so I hope things work out ok for me on that end. So I guess I should go lay down while the kids are some what quiet!

WORDLESS WEDNESDAY ~2

To participate go HERE!

TEACUP PUPPIES

I have never had a dog before until just a few months ago. We got a pure bred beagle who is now 4 months old. Breigh our puppy, is turning out to be a great addition to the family but we still have so much to learn about dogs and taking care of one. We have been getting some advice from a friend of ours who has a pug named Sam and just the other night they got a new member to their family, a teacup puppy of some breed all I know is that is white, cute and fluffy! Breigh our puppy brings a lot of joy and excitement to our family and with her sad puppy eyes she gives it is hard not to give into her. Now call me crazy but if we were to consider getting another puppy I think I would love to have a teacup or pocket beagle! It would be like having another "Breigh" in the house but only smaller. When searching the web for pocket beagles I couldn't get over how many different teacup breeds there were, then I came across Isabella the cutest little Yorkie and her brother named buddy while reading their blog! Here you can get information on joining a kennel club, could a dog group be something for you? If you want to talk to others who are just as passionate about their pets as you are, then you should check it out. Get all the information you need on getting the best health care for your dog and nutrition.

I have just fallen in love with this cute, sweet puppy but I don't think that having a little Yorkie in our house would go over very well with our beagle. She is such a baby and wants all the attention to be focused on her. So as cute as a little Yorkie would be we will just have to enjoy the one puppy we have now. What do you think of the Yorkie Cross Breeds. Would this be a puppy you would possibly consider for you home?

JOINING AIR CADETS

Yesterday when Jay my 12 year old son came home from school he had mentioned to me about him and his friend joining the air cadets. At first all I could think about was great another night of running around and more money to try to budget. Well come to find out that him joining isn't going to cost me anything because it is all funded by the government and that they meet on Tuesday nights right beside us at the Junior High School where he now attends and on Saturdays they will meet there again for games and activities. He isn't sure if this is something he will be interested in but he wants to give it a try and decide for himself. I think it would be great for him and would be a great experience but to be honest I think it is the look of the uniform that has him worried! It will be interested to hear what he decides to do :0)

MAKING CHANGES

Now that I am going back to work (starting monday) I only have less than a week to get things organized and some changes made around here. So far tonight we have turned the dance room (for miss Trinity) back into the main computer room office (made arrangements for her to dance at the studio) which now frees up the front porch where the computer had been moved to. We will now use this as the front entry to the house where we will hang our jackets and leave our shoes. This will be great considering one thing this old house was lacking was closet space and I am getting tired of the jackets being left on chairs. So that is the main big changes in the house.

Another change I am going to have to make is getting rid of at least one of my blogs so I think I will be deleting my "As I see it" blog considering it is rather new and not a lot of traffic. I will have to turn my focus on my weight loss to my rantings blog and will still be there to offer other my support! I will be keeping this blog along with Jabber Jaws and My favorite... Let them be little, my family blog!

Now how can I make changes with my diet and exercise? I know this is something I am going to have to keep up with and could be a challenge but I only need 30 minutes on the treadmill so if I can get that done after the kids go to school I will be ok there and as for the eating habits I am hoping that by working nights will help me from getting into all kinds of food and by the time I get home I will be to tired to eat so maybe working nights won't be a bad thing for me!

So for my exercise journal for today....
I am not down any weight this week but I think the motivation is coming back and will hopefully see some results next week!
I walked/ran on the treadmill for 30 minutes, doing 2.03 miles and burning 333 calories then a half hour later took Blake and the puppy for a walk to hubby's work which took us 1 hr 30 minutes! I thought that was pretty good until I blew it with lunch from KFC (chicken place) but I did good the rest of the day. See what tomorrow brings!

GIVE ME FIVE MONDAY~2

This weeks theme is -Give Me Five birthday memories from your life or of someone else.

1. Jay, My oldest sons birthday in 1996! He was born 6 weeks early and a tiny little thing he was. It's hard to believe that he started Junior High School! One of his favorite things he looks forward to on his day is the easy no bake orea jello dessert.
2. Trinity, My one and only daughter's birthday in 2000! She was born the day before my birthday. Now every year we share our birthday and have special mother and daughter days! Miss Trinity isn't to fussy on what kind of cake she has on her birthday just as long as there is lots of icing! she is our junk food junky lol The best thing for her is that the next day she gets more cake when we celebrate my birthday!
3.We celebrated Kohl's birthday earlier than expected, he came into the world 5 weeks early and the day after our 1st wedding anniversay in 2002! He was a good size weighing 7lbs 7ozs! His favorite cake/dessert if the no bake jello cheesecake but he has to help me make it and I think that is the best part! We usually celebrate his birthday while on vacation at the beach. He looks forward to his beach parties every year!
4.Blake we call our Halloween baby! No he wasn't born on Halloween but just a couple of hours later on November 1st, 2004 and he too wasn't about to wait for my due date and came 4 weeks early! The date is getting closer and soon he will be celebrating his 4th birthday. We usually do a kids Halloween costume party for Blake but I think year his main focus is going to be transformers but I am thinking that since his costume is going to me the optimus prime transformer we can still do both and he won't notice the difference!
5.A couple of years ago my mom turned 50! Even though I live long distance from my family it didn't stop me from planning her a surprise party! With the help from my father and sister we pulled it off :0) She had a great night with her family and friends. I was so glad to be part of her 50th birthday! During March we have a string of birthdays with Trinity's the 22nd, Mine the 23rd, Mom's and my aunts on the 25th and now my newest niece on the 27th. What a month!

CAMERA CRITTERS ~24

Breigh our 4 month old puppy has become quite the little cuddle bug! She does not like to be cold at all and she has been the this since the day we got her when she was only 4 weeks old, we always have to have a blanket nearby for her to curl up in. The first picture below is Breigh just the other day. When I got home from my job interview I couldn't find her then there she was completely covered with my big soft blanket. I moved the blanket a bit then she peeked her head out. Just look at that face!

Below is a picture of Breigh last week. We were getting ready to walk to hubby's work, I got the stroller ready outside for Blake then went in to get Blake ready. When we came out Breigh was in the stroller ready to go! The only problem was that the stroller was for Blake so Breigh had to walk. She was quick jumping into the basket of the stroller, I guess she wasn't in the mood for a walk that day!

Now take a close look at her head. Do you see the arrow pointing upward between her eyes? I think that is so cool! I only noticed it the other day :0)

Go HERE to participate!

BZZZZZZZZZZZZ!

I have been trying to catch up on some much needed sleep and when Blake wasn't feeling well the other morning I took advantage and put him in for a nap then crawled back into bed myself. He was tired and fell asleep right away, that never happens! So the next day I thought I would just try my luck and around the same time I put him in my bed with me and sure enough he fell asleep again! So I got another morning in with a nap :0) Well that was the end of the napping until again yesterday but this wasn't going as well. Blake wasn't the problem but the very very loud sound of buzzing in the room GRRRRRR After about 15 minutes of listening to this noise I got up to make sure it wasn't a bee????Nope it was just a great big house fly the size of my thumb nail and it was fast. I got my handy dandy fly swatter out and chased the fly around the house from my bedroom to the kitchen, then to the dining room and living and just when I thought I had it.....it was gone? With no sign of the fly in sight I went back to bed with Blake and seconds later it was back. Well it wasn't getting away from me this time. I shut my bedroom door, got the fly swatter in my hand and I wasn't giving up. By this point Blake was in tears laughing at me. The fly went from one side of the room until the other without stopping. I swear this fly was on something LOL Anyway I had enough...this fly was mine! I braced myself in the middle of the room and had this sucker cornered in one side of my room then after flying around and circling the bed it came right at me and I was ready I brought the swatter back like a baseball bat, held on tight and swung at it. Yes I connected with it with a loud sound as it was hit across the room, hit the wall and bounced off right back to where I was standing. YES VICTORY!
Oh and we did end up finally getting some sleep!

Collector's Dream

True collections take time to acquire and to get the best products you need to research and be sure you are getting the best quality items you can. A lot of collectors use the Internet to build their collections but with this takes caution as you want to be sure you are using sources you can trust. Companies with a reputable reputation like the CSN (CableShoppingNetwork) offer only the best products. They provide access to a great variety of collectibles to meet the needs of even the most finicky collector. Collecting can be a risky investment but a safe investment is usually in coin and metal commodities so look into great items like the new dollar coins you'll enjoy the fantastic detail on these collector coins.

AND SO IT CONTINUES.....

Yes I am going to talk about dancing again!!!! Tonight was Trinity's first night of regular classes. I dropped her off at 5:00 pm for her jazz level 1, tap, ballet and jazz level 3 classes then I returned to sit with her at 7:00pm during her off class and when I got there she had on her ballet shoes again! What is up with that?????? Apparently Kim (her teacher) said that since she was going to be there anyway every week while waiting for her lyrical class she may as well join the class in ballet ( this is an advanced class). The girls were handed their new ballet costumes for recital and competition and Trinity was handed one as well and she said " is this dress for me?" she was kind of confused since she wasn't suppose to be dancing at this level then one of the girls from her class Erin says" sure it's for you! We can't let a good dress go to waste now can we?" I thought that was the sweetest thing ever! They all know how much Trinity loves to dance and didn't want to see her sit out so she will now be doing 10 dances this year in total and the best part.... this class won't cost me any more money!

GROCERY DAY

It has been a long month but finally tomorrow morning we will get the kids off to school then head in to get our monthly grocery order. I was fortunate enough to gather up a few things for the kids lunches tomorrow so they will be happy to have treats in the house once again. Getting groceries only once a month is hard to do but it has to be done. The one thing that I find hard is saving enough money for fresh produce, milk and bread for the weeks in between and finding enough room in the fridge and freezer to keep a month supply of food.

Business Phone System

When it comes to running an efficeint and profitable business it's all about haveing a great organization. It is important to have the most efficeint and flexible communication system available. One such system now available would be VoIP phone systems these phone systems are not like your traditional phone line, they work off your broad band connection and are much more reliable. The VoIP system gives you all the traditional features you would expect from a phone service but without the expensive set up costs of traditional PBX phone systems. The Nimbus VoIP system offers unlimited phone calls withing the United States along with free dialing to any other Nimbus # anywhere in the world.

ALL NEW EPISODES

I do live a very busy life with four kids and an overload of dance classes but somehow I am going to find/make some time to catch the new episodes of some of my favorite tv shows. On Monday nights I am already getting into Prison Break which I have to remember that it is on at an earlier time next week, then on Tuesday I will watch House and Biggest Loser (I fell asleep this week and missed them), then on Wednesday I believe it is The Practice (spin off from Grey's Anatomy), and on Thursday there is CSI, Grey's Anatomy and I will have to check into it but ER should be starting soon as well. I will have to enjoy my shows while I can because sometime in October I will be starting to work evening and will miss all my shows. What shows do you look forward to watching?

THE HEAT IS ON

I had to resort to using the heat this evening, so I would have to say the fall is now here. Lucky for us our room is the only room that needs the heat on as the rest of the house is still around 20 degrees so we shouldn't see to much of a change yet with the electrical bill and on the bright side of things having the room cool is great when I actually get on the treadmill. I am struggling with that one and that's another story.

TICKETS IN YOUR HANDS

I am just starting to realize that planning a trip with a group isn't the easiest thing in the world. Not only are we getting the airline tickets booked, hotel reservations made but there are also the event tickets that we need purchased. So how does someone make sure that you get good tickets and have them in your hands? Well we are turning our attention to premiumseatsusa.com where we found a large selection of events from Theatre tickets, Nascar tickets,Miami Heat tickets and many other sporting event tickets. Don't worry about those sold out concerts and don't settle for just any seat available, turn to Premium Seats USA and get the seats you have been waiting for.

SUMMER IS OVER :0(

It is hard to believe that summer is already over and today I started to pack away some of the kids summer clothes to make room for their warmer sweaters and pants. This year summer felt so short with the warm weather coming late and having the fall weather hitting us early. I was looking back at some of my summer pictures with the kids and realized that although it was a very short season we did lots and had tons of family fun and all we can do know is buckle down and get ready for the colder months that are fast approaching.
This is a picture of Jay (in the lead) and Kohl (not too far behind) while enjoy one of the few sunny days while on our vacation back home with family.

TRIP TO NEW YORK

Last night was Trinity's first night of dance troupe and they were officially told that they will be travelling to New York next summer! The kids were filled with excitement as us parents stood back with our jaws dropped as we were getting an idea of how much this trip is going to cost us....eeeeks.... So needless to say that the next year for us is going to be focused around fundraising for this trip. Not only do I have to come up with the money for miss Trinity but I also need to find the money for myself to go as a chaperon. Next week we will be given the exact amount that we will be looking at and the date for the first payment to be made. This is going to be the most expensive dance year yet and it has just begun! Then there is the 9 costumes she will be needing, competition fees, workshop fees, dance exams and regular class payments and that isn't even mentioning the 2 boys and what they will be needing throughout the year. This does seem like a lot but to see the kids have an amazing amount of fun it will be worth every penny!

WHAT'S IN MY PURSE MEME

I was tagged by Tammy to do this meme to see what kind of great stuff I have in my purse, unfortunately it is pretty empty so you won't find anything exciting...here is goes!

Here are the rules.

Find a safe quiet place free of significant others, nosey meme makers, priests, nuns, all things religious and men in general. (If you're a guy just reverse this process to male and tell us about your wallet, tool box, briefcase or metro sexual accessory.)

1.. Dump the contents of your handbag in a pile

2. Take a photo of your handbag and the contents

3. Be brave and 'splain to your fellow bloggers what lurks inside the handbag.

4. Tag others who might want to embarrass themselves

5. Answer these questions:

-Describe the contents of your handbag.
Well like I already said there isn't much in my purse...just my organizer calender, lip balm, old movie stubs, my very old wallet from 13 years ago, a pencil, hair elastic, crystal light package and that is it. I usually have my cell phone in there but I just took it out so that my hubby could use it.

-What's the most important thing in your handbag?
My organizer calender...how else would I keep track of all my kids dancing, bowling, basketball etc.... and hopefully soon my own work schedual!

-What's the most embarrassing thing in your handbag?
I don't have anything embarrassing in my purse...sorry!

-What's the smallest thing in your handbag?
I would have to say the hair elastic

-Is there anything illegal in your handbag?
Nope!

THE BOYS FIRST DAY OF DANCE CLASSES!

The boys were so excited this morning to finally start their dance classes. Blake was up at 7:00am and ready to go, but unfortunately he still had a couple of hours to wait so I slowly got him dressed, he ate breakfast, packed his shoes in his bag and I can't forget about the gel in his hair (he wasn't leaving until that was done!) Kohl danced last year so he already knew what to expect but nevertheless he was still excited because this year he went back into tap class and is also taking jazz, ballet and hip hop. Both boys had a great time and can't wait to go back next Saturday!

A diamond is forever

There is the old saying that "Diamonds are a girl's best friend. There is nothing quite as beautiful when it comes to jewelry as a well cut diamond. I know one of a girls most anticipated moments of her life is the day that she will recieve her engagement ring from that special someone. Some girls think they would like to go shopping for Engagement Rings but others would like the surprise of the proposal, it's hard to be surprised if you went shopping for rings. You can actually find great deals for diamonds on-line, companies like bluenile are certified diamond dealers which means you can trust them for quality and because they are an on-line company they can offer savings of 20-40% over traditional retail stores. They currently boast a selection of over 60,000 certified diamonds for you to choose from to ensure your ring is perfectly created for you. Their Jewelry is second to none in quality, fit and beauty and offer a wide assortment of jewelry from bracelets, necklaces, wedding bands, ear rings and more. They allow you to custom build the ring of your dreams and are proud to have been apart of over 150,000 proposals to date.

JOB HUNTING...

Today I set out looking for a job. I guess I have stayed home long enough and it is now time to get back out there, now the only problem will be finding a shift that will work without needing a sitter for the kids. Wish me luck on that one!!!!!
I applied at the local grocery store just before we left for our summer vacation and they still aren't hiring for the evening shift so this morning I dropped off my resume at the call center in the same mall where my husband works. While dropping off my resume I ended up going through some testing and I passed with flying colors which landed me an interview Monday at 10:30am. Right now the only position open is a temporary position which starts in October but from there she said can and probably work into a part time or even full time positions! This all sounds great but again I need to know how the shift will work before I can commit to anything. I guess I will know all that on Monday! Fingers crossed!!!!!!

ANTI BULLYING DAY!

Today is the day that the schools are showing their support in bullying so all the students, girls and boys can show their support by wearing pink shirts to school. We went out last night and found the two boys a pink t - shirt and believe it or not they both seemed somewhat excited about wearing them! I am so proud of them for taking a stand and showing their support!

Spa Accessories

The internet is such a fantastic tool when it comes to making big purchases. You can access so much information without ever leaving the comfort of your home. We were recently looking for spa supplies for our spa and were able to find a variety of products that would help us fix up our outdoor spa. We really need a spa cover to replace ours as it has seen better days and it is beginning to get a little cooler outside so we wanted to upgrade to a better quality cover that would stand up to the harsh climate we get here. One important feature we were looking for was to add a spa cover lifter to make it easier to get the cover on and off for us in the evenings after the kids go to sleep. If you are thinking about getting a spa for your home there are a lot of things to consider before making the investment. You definetly want to take your time and do your research to be sure you get exactly what you need for your area and conditions to make sure you get the most enjoyment possible for your money. Finding experts like The Cover Guy is important because you really want to know you have support from people that have been in the business. They guarantee a perfect fit for your cover and that you will get the best price available. They will give you instruction on how to measure your spa to ensure your new cover will fit, no matter what shape your original spa is they can make the cover to fit. They also provide fast shipping in-stock covers ship within 7 days and custom orders will ship in 3 - 5weeks depending on the seasonal business. Having a spa can sure be very enjoyable if you have the accessories you need and some great people to enjoy it with you.

FAMILY

This Morning I got this really touching email from my aunt about family and I thought it would be nice to pass this along to all of you!
F A M I L Y

I ran into a stranger as he passed by,
'Oh excuse me please' was my reply.
He said, 'Please excuse me too;
I wasn't watching for you.'
We were very polite, this stranger and I.
We went on our way and we said goodbye.
But at home a different story is told,
How we treat our loved ones, young and old.
Later that day, cooking the evening meal,
My son stood beside me very still.
When I turned, I nearly knocked him down.
'Move out of the way,' I said with a frown.
He walked away, his little heart broken.
I didn't realize how harshly I'd spoken.
While I lay awake in bed,
God's still small voice came to me and said,
'While dealing with a stranger, common courtesy you use,
but the family you love, you seem to abuse.
Go and look on the kitchen floor,
You'll find some flowers there by the door.
Those are the flowers he brought for you.
He picked them himself: pink, yellow and blue.
He stood very quietly not to spoil the surprise,
you never saw the tears that filled his little
By this time, I felt very small,
And now my tears began to fall.
I quietly went and knelt by his bed;
'Wake up, little one, wake up,' I said.
'Are these the flowers you picked for me?
' He smiled, 'I found 'em, out by the tree.
I picked 'em because they're pretty like you.
I knew you'd like 'em, especially the blue.
' I said, 'Son, I'm very sorry for the way I acted today;
I shouldn't have yelled at you that way.
' He said, 'Oh, Mom, that's okay.
I love you anyway.' I said,
'Son, I love you too,
and I do like the flowers, especially the blue.

FAMILY Are you aware that if we died tomorrow, the company that we are working for could easily replace us in a matter of days. But the family we left behind will feel the loss for the rest of their lives. And come to think of it, we pour ourselves more into work than into our own family, an unwise investment indeed, don't you think? So what is behind the story?

Do you know what the word FAMILY means?
FAMILY = (F)ATHER (A)ND (M)OTHER (I) (L)OVE (Y)OU

BACK 2 SCHOOL

It's back to routine around here as 3 of my 4 kiddos headed off to school. Jay started his first year in Junior high, Trinity in Grade 3 and Kohl moved on to grade 1. I think the kids were happy to be going back to school this morning but this was the one and only morning all summer that they wanted to sleep in. Maybe next summer they will catch on to that concept at the beginning of their summer vacation LOL.
