I think its a new Doo

I have been debating my hair the last little while but after spending last night at work going through pictures with the girls(on break of course). I have decided to go back to my short short hair cut. Hubby is off this morning so once the kiddies get off to school we will head off(no pun intended) to the hair dresser and get the cut and style. I am hoping this will help me get through the winter blahs a bit, with some snow/rain coming tonight it should be warming up a little bit at least by tommorrow.

MY NEW DO!!!!

I love it! Some of you have been wanting to see my new hair cut and color (colors) so miss Trinity took a picture of me this afternoon after painting all day. I love my hair this short, it is so easy to take care of and the color is great. I have been working on getting my hair cut this short over the past year and finally its done!

ME TIME....

Well I did it. While we were out today I took some time and got my hair cut. Hubby thought I was just getting a trim but like I said I got my hair CUT! Yep it is even shorter than before and it feels great! So before I left the salon I was talking to my hair dresser about getting some highlights done to really show the cut and she suggested I go with blond and red chunks but I would come back another time. Just minutes from home after having lunch, hubby suggested that I just go get it done and not to put it off, so I headed back to the salon (25 minutes away) and got it done. I now have blond with 2 shades of red in my hair and I love it! So that is how I spent my me time today and now I am watching American Idol then heading off to bed to get some much needed rest.

I can't wait until the weekend...my mom, dad, youngest sister (16) and my aunt are coming to visit (5 hours away). They haven't been here since November and the kids are so excited. While they are here we will celebrate Jay's birthday with them and my dad is suppose to help with some electrical work in our new room. I promised him that that would be the only project for him to help with, the rest of the time will be for visiting! I promise dad LOL. Hubby has been on vacation this week and although it has been raining most of the time it is going by so fast and we didn't get any outdoor painting done. See what tomorrow will bring. It is finally suppose to be sunny and warm! Ok I have a show to watch here. Who is going to be the next American Idol?

***Ranting Hairstyles

Well tonight was monthly hair cut night for all the boys in the house, what a whirlwind, I started off with Blake, got him all trimmed up, he's the squirmiest. When he was done it was off to the shower with him and onto Kohl, he likes his hair spikey and short, it makes him think better at school. When he was done it was time to kick Blake out of the shower and get Kohl in. Than we moved onto Jay and finished up with Matt what a rough night. My reward I'm going to the professional hair stylist on the weekend to fix up my cut.

***SHE HAS THICK HAIR....

One of the many things I just love about my daughter is her hair. It is so beautiful and shinny but OMG let me tell you that it is too thick to do anything with. Trinity has been complaining about it for quite some time now so last night after supper I sat her down and thinned it out. Although it doesn't look a whole lot different from before it sure is a lot thinner and easier to work with. She is very happy with her new hair cut and says that she feels like a new person. She is looking forward to going back to school tomorrow to show off her hair to all her friends.

A lot less hair but still the shine :0)
