We took a drive around to see what the water was like....we could actually see the water from the front of our house but wanted to go down by the ferry terminal to get a better look. Every time I opened the window in the van to get a picture I got sprayed by sea water. The kids were pretty excited and impressed with the size of the waves...Kohl (5 years) thought they would be great surfing waves...I didn't know he knew what surfing was. Not a whole lot of damage done, some houses had siding blown off and lots of trampoline's and yard swings blown around and debris on the roads. It was pretty calm out there compared to the Hurricane Juan experience... That's all the excitement for now...maybe I will get some sleep ( one can wish can't they LOL)
