BFF GOLD CARD

I have never come across a better credit card than the one I received from Petula. This is a no interest, no payment BFF Gold Card and I am giving one to YOU!

The kids are in bed and the house here is quiet. My mom works until later tonight and my dad took my son his clothes for tomorrow (spending the night at my aunts again tonight). After struggling with getting the Internet on my computer at my moms all last night and this morning we went shopping and bought a wireless router for their house. It was well worth the $40 to be able to play around on the computer and keep in touch with all of you.

Tomorrow morning we are heading to Crystal Palace Amusement park for the day and not only will it be us and my closest sister but everyone else is tagging along. Yes it's nice to have family around, Kohl will have his second cousin Noah to hang out with but everyone else is going to make it crazier than it already will be. I am sure we will survive! I am booked in with a few of the kids for the roller coaster so I will make sure that I don't eat breakfast LOL. I am tired just thinking of tomorrow. I will post some pictures of the fun when I get chance. Enjoy your weekend :0)

A BLOG AWARD JUST FOR ME!

After such a long day I finally got the kids off to bed and now at almost 9:00pm it's my turn to sit down and relax. Of course there isn't anything I like to watch on tv but I have lots of blog hopping to catch up on. As I sat here on the couch with the fireplace turned on (electric) I hopped on over to visit my husbands blog and found a great award waiting there for me along with a great post that he wrote about me his wonderful, loving, stubborn at times (he didn't say that lol) wife. He had so much nice to say about me that I just had to share it with you all!

"My wife definitely deserves an award for being the best wife ever, so I made this one especially for her. Everyday I look at her in amazement of her beauty and remember all the good things that have happened. I have to thank her for saving me really as before I got together with her I was travelling down a dangerous path in which all I really worried about was working and going out to bars with friends. It was a bad habit that I had gotten myself stuck in where I would spend 3-4 nights a week out drinking with friends. It wasn't really something I was doing for fun but to get out I guess. Her strength and love for me made me realize there were much better things to do with my time than bounce back bottles. We have been together for 9 years now and have 4 amazing little children. There have been times when everything wasn't a rose garden you could say but the underlying love we share gets us through the hard times. She really is an amazing woman and having her with me is my grace during the hard days. I love her with all my heart and could never imagine life without her."

I gave the "Forever Friends Award" to a good friend Kim. She isn't just a good blogging friend who got me started with blogging but she is my real life best friend. Unfortunately for us I moved 7 hours away from her in the summer and we only keep in touch through blogging and emails and I tell you it's not the same. She not only is my best friend but she is Blake's (3 year old son) bestest buddy ever. They have an incredible friendship. I will never forget Kim and I am hoping to get together with her this summer!

I was given this "You Cheer Me Up Award" from Misty! It was definitely something I was needing first thing this morning as I woke up in the most miserable mood imaginable...Oh my poor family, I'm surprised they didn't kick me out the door. After my husband took them to school then headed to work himself I was able to sit down at the computer and this is when I saw that Misty gave me an award. That ended the mood...What was up with it in the first place. Someone must have set me off in my dream or something. Anyway things are great now and when I finish up here I will go watch a movie with Blake down in the family room. Thank you such much for this Misty...but you are the one that cheers ME up! One of the first things I do once the kids are off to school if not before...is to sit at the computer and do some blog hopping to see what new in the lives of some good blogging friends. They have become a part of my family and I find myself thinking of them many times through out the day, whether it's wonder how they are making out with their weight loss or what's new with their families or did Anne have her little baby girl yet. I look forward to getting my daily dose every morning from all these special blogs.

***8 DAYS 'TIL CHRISTMAS!

8 days until Christmas...yippee! That means that one week from today is Christmas Eve...when all the fun begins! The messy weather has given the kids the day home from school. It snowed until about 3:00am then it turned to freezing rain then rain by this morning...and yes there was still snow left to shovel and boy was it heavy...I'm not really sure why they closed the schools today but I think it's suppose to turn cold this afternoon and the roads will freeze. Better safe than sorry :0)
