***PRISON BREAK...

I am looking forward to the return of Prison Break tonight! Now I can get back into my Monday night routine of TV shows before heading of to bed and if I'm not mistaken I think I recall my husband saying that American Idol was starting soon. This week is it? I will have to look into that one. My kids are off to bed and I am going to finish up on the computer in the next little while and check the weather channel to see what to expect overnight and into the morning. Will tomorrow be a snow day for the kids. That would be fine with me, there is lots of work that needs done around the house and help would be nice....no I was just kidding LOL We will probably spend the day play Dance Dance Revolution if they are home and if so I will get to sleep in because hubby goes to work at noon. I will have to wait to see what morning brings. Will it be snow or will it be rain?

YAWPBOX

Think back and try to remember on event that happened to you that you feel was your time of fame. Was it funny, romantic, serious, accidental or adventurous? I can remember all to well back when I was between the ages of 7-10, I went sliding with my family and extended family. It was a nice winter day and everyone was enjoying their time going down then back up the hill over and over again. Then suddenly on my way back up the hill, there I was on my way back down again and faster then planned. I found myself face into some relatives on their way down the hill, there I was kicking my legs out in front of them while my face stayed stuck buried in the jacket of the person in front. I tell you this was quite the ride down and not seeing where i was going at such a fast speed was another feeling I still to this day can't explain. I survived the ride down with only a bloody nose and to this day I am the only one who remembers this event. At least now I can look back and laugh about it. If only you could have seen me sticking out in front of the sled. I don't know that this qualifies as being a time of fame but I was definitely in the spotlight for the rest of that day!

***GOOD MORNING!

It was indeed a great morning. I got to sleep in and as I was laying there thinking about getting up I could here the sound of breakfast being prepared in the kitchen downstairs and thought that my husband was probably making the kids pancakes....which he was....so I thought I would stay in bed a bit longer until they were finished so that I wouldn't eat any pancakes because as some of you might already know I am doing the 2 meals a day with cereal diet which does work by the way and if I went down I would be tempted to eat pancakes. Good choice I thought to wait it out...then I hear the whispers and giggles of the kids as they were coming up the stairs then I realized something was up! Sure enough the younger three kids brought me breakfast in bed and it wasn't my bowl of cereal LOL. They were so excited to show me the I love you pancakes as they COVERED them with syrup. Thanks guys just what I needed LOL. Blake stayed behind in the bedroom with me as the other 2 went back downstairs and he helped me eat the pancakes and in all honesty I think I only ended up eating 2 pancakes because of my helper. It was so cute to see them bringing me breakfast and I enjoyed every bit. Looks like cereal for lunch today!

With hubby being off this weekend I got to sleep in and boy did I ever need that! Good Morning it is and once again after enjoy the hugs and kisses from the kids I am back here at the computer but I have no intentions of being here all day unless I am visiting friends blogs!

***GOOD DAY AT SCHOOL...

Kohl my 5 year old son had a much better day at school today. He has been having trouble focusing on his work and is getting distracted by any little thing that is going on around him. He is getting his work done and is very smart but just can't seem to focus. Today the teacher isolated him when it was workbook time and he was able to complete his work on time and was very proud of himself. I rewarded him with some TV time because his TV was taken away from him until he got a good report back from his teacher. I am hoping that he won't have to be isolated from the other students for long but if that's what it takes to keep his focus then that will have to continue.

***VALENTINE'S GALA

So the decision has been made and Matt has accepted the free tickets to the hospitals Valentine's Gala. At first we weren't going to attend because with us both losing weight a few years back we never fully filled out wardrobe with new clothes besides how often would I need nice fancy dress clothes. I got a call from a friend who is attending this gala and she says it's not as formal as I've been told and a pair of dress paints and a nice dress shirt would be all most of the ladies will be wearing and Matt will only need new dress pants and shoes to go with his new shirt and tie he got for Christmas. So off to the Gala we will go in February. The prizes sound fantastic and expensive and the kids are looking forward to having the sitter come back for a night of fun and games and I do have to admit that I am looking forward to an adult night out!

***THE DAILY DOSE...

I got this "Daily Dose" from Jenn from Enjoying the Ride!

"This little award is called The Daily Dose - and here is all the important info to tell you what it is about and where it came from. This is a tribute to all the blogs that you've discovered that you can't possibly live without. They make you laugh, cry, think and feel connected every time you read a post. They give you a thrill as you see them loading into your browser and you get an equally satisfying thrill when you see that they have commented on your blog".

One of the first things I do once the kids are off to school if not before...is to sit at the computer and do some blog hopping to see what new in the lives of some good blogging friends. They have become a part of my family and I find myself thinking of them many times through out the day, whether it's wonder how they are making out with their weight loss or what's new with their families or did Anne have her little baby girl yet. I look forward to getting my daily dose every morning from all these special blogs.

I am going to pass this along to all the blogs in my blog roll so that I don't leave anyone out and remember to share this award with others to let them know how you feel about them.

***EARNING MONEY ONLINE!

Hear me rant about money....

This month is going to be a pretty costly month with my daughter's dance classes. Along with her monthly payments of around 60 some dollars for tap, jazz and ballet, I am hit with $75 for renewing her second term in technique jazz class along with my son's term payment of $60 for hip hop classes. It gets worse...Trinity has her tap exam on January 19th which will cost an extra $55 and the kids competition fees of $170 combined are due by January 25th. Wait there's more :0(...I haven't even mentioned the 3 dance costumes that my daughter will be needing and that will bring the bill up at least another $150...eeeks. Thank God I got 2 costumes second hand. With all this said I am so thankful for the extra money I am earning online because of this I am able to pay off the dance bill on time. What a weight lifted off my shoulders when I realized that the money I've made online will be enough to pay the bill. It's times like this I know my time put into payperpost and Blogitive is well worth it!
To see videos of my little dancer click here!

***CHRISTMAS SHOPPING...

Here we are only a week into the new year and I have already bought 2 Christmas gifts for my little nieces ("ring around the Rosie dolls") I will still probably get them a pair of pyjamas to go with it but it's start. After all the last minute shopping for 2007 I said I would never put myself our our bank account in that situation again. 2 gifts down with many many more to go!

***GOING BACK TO WORK ~ OR NOT...

...that is something I have been trying to figure our lately. Would it be worth it or just add to much confusion to the family. I have done it before but I only had 2 children at the time and none of the kids were involved in sports. How would I go about working around my husbands demanding job without putting my kids in childcare. Is it really worth all the fuss at this point or should I wait a couple of years until my baby is in school? GRRR I hate making decisions!

Tonneau Cover

My husband has always wanted to have a truck but with having a large family it was out of the question when we bought our van 2 years ago but with our busy lives we are in need of a second vehicle, so maybe it's tie he gets his truck. There are so many truck accessories out there to choose from and through BuyAutoTruckAccessories.com you are sure to find the accessories you want whether it's bed liners, taillight guards or chrome accessories, you will find many to choose from. You will also find a variety of tonneau coversto choose from at the lowest prices. They offer a huge selection of tonneau covers from a soft tonneau cover, hard covers, Tri-Fold covers and many more with the most popular names like Lund and Torza.
These are all things my husband will have to consider when looking to buy the truck that is right for him.

***WINTER ACTIVITIES...

How does your family spend the winter months? Do you get outside and take part in the winter activities such as skating, sliding, skiing, ect...or do you stay inside to escape the winter weather?
I remember as a child spending most of my time outside. We were fortunate enough to live close by to a hill for sliding which was right beside a pond for skating. I find my kids seem to hang out inside but I think that's more my fault then theirs. They love to go skating and sliding and just building snow forts for that matter but how in the heck can I manage 4 kids on a busy hill sliding let alone 4 kids on skates when 2 are just learning to skate. I have to get them out to do more activities and stop looking for excuses not to take them places. Yes it inconvenient but to see them having fun would be well worth it. I have to learn to face the fact that kids do and will get hurt from time to time ~even mine~

***MIRACLES !

What do you think of when you here the word "miracle"? For me after hearing about my husband's cousin's battle with cancer and her chances of survival being very small, it was so great to receive a Christmas letter from her parents saying that she had beaten the cancer and after being told she would never be able to have children, I am happy to say that after being married in October they are expecting a baby in May. So yes to me that isn't just one miracle but 2. She beat the 10% chance of surviving the cancer and will be blessed with a baby in the spring! That is something I will never forget...Miracles do happen!

Small Business Credit Card

When you are looking for a credit card where do you turn to? I tend to stay away from credit cards as much as possible but there are some things you just need to use it whether it's for emergencies or running a small business. CreditCardSearchEngine.com is a website that will help you compare, decide and apply for a credit card that is right for you. There are so many to choose from and with running a business you will find many Small Business Credit Card where you can earn rewards with cash back and many of these cards offer competitive interest rates.

***NEW YEAR'S RESOLUTION....

So 2007 has come and gone and now here we are in 2008! This is going to be a great year and I'm sure most of us have made our New Year Resolutions....Can we stick to it this year or will it be forgotten before the end of the month arrives. I don't know about you but I am more than determined to stick to it this year. A lot depends on it when it comes to our debt. We are starting to get in over our heads with bills but if all goes well we will have quite a few bills taken care of this year. One of the reasons I know we will stick to this is that we have been wanting to take the kids to Orlando Florida for some great family time vacation and something the kids will remember as they get older. We are all excited about the talk of finally going but it's up to us to make it happen. So that is our family resolution. My personal resolution for 2008 is to once again lose a few pounds. I don't have a lot to lose but to get back to my comfort zone I need to lose 5-10 pounds but it's not going to be easy . I will let you know of my progress and hopefully this will keep me motivated to get the weight off.
What is you New Year Resolution and will you see it through to the end!

SHOWER CURTAIN LINERS

I am one to spend my time shopping online rather than heading out to the mall so I do spend quite a bit of time browsing through many different sites and this one particular site I had the chance to browse through did catch my attention at cozyhomewares.com. This website right now only offers aprons, shower curtains and shower curtain liners but I have been looking for a good shower curtain liner and have yet to find one. Cozyhomewares has a shower curtain liner that i am interested in and the price is great and this site offers free shipping!

***MILD WEATHER...

After a cold spell the weather has turned mild and should stay that way for the rest of the week. It's a little disappointing for the kids because they were looking forward to going to the big sliding hill but just today alone we have lost a lot of snow, so I don't know what Thursday will bring for sliding. The kids are now home from school and I am STILL working on getting this house organized (if it's at all possible). It's times like this that I miss my cute little mini home back in Quispamsis. I could have my house cleaned from one end of the house to the other in one hour or less. Here I am lucky to get one level of the house done by lunch time GRRRR! Wish me luck I am about to tackle my husbands workshop and coat room. This could be interesting!
I haven't forgotten about my fellow blogging buddies and I am hopping to get some more blog hoppin' done soon. Bare with me some more please!
