MESSY WINTER WEATHER...
This morning the schools were still open for students and against my judgement I sent them off to school with their father. The weather went from snow to heavy snow then quickly turned to freezing rain then heavy rain as the temperature got warmer. Well it didn't stay warm long and as it got colder out things starting to freeze. So when hubby was home for lunch I ran up to the school and brought the kids home. Better off home anyway and if I had of left them I would have had to take hubby back to work, come home, pick up the kids, come home, take Trinity to dance class, pick hubby up , pick Trinity up then come home...Sounds like too many trips on the slippery slushy roads don't you think. Everyone is home safe and now playing some Dance Revolution. Maybe next time this happens they will just cancel school or I will use my own judgement and keep them home.

I hate it when they don't cancel school, and I KNOW that they should have. At least now you're all home safe. Enjoy the dancing!!
That's a beautiful picture...but nice to look at not nice to be out in...or drive in.
I don't miss living in the Maritimes this time of year! I used to live in NB (parents are from Cape Breton). I'm so spoiled here near Toronto...no snow!
Stay inside & stay warm!
That is too funny, I am also from New Brunswick and now living in Cape Breton.
love the photo of the ice on the trees. I loved it when my kids had snow days and we could spend more time with them.
