Nutcracker Heaven
This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Pier 1 Imports. All opinions are 100% mine.
My son and daughter are starring in there dance school's production of the Nutcracker, they have been working on it for a few months now and the performance is really starting to come together so beautifully. They are very excited to be part of such a big show, I thought for Christmas I would surprise them with a special little Nut Cracker and Mouse King of their own. I was having a hard time finding just the right holiday gifts in the local stores but there isn't much selection around here so I decided to try shopping online. I found this guy on the Pier 1 web-site and he is perfect for my son.
While I was visiting the site I found some very exciting decorating items that I want for my dining room to help bring the Christmas Spirit into the house this year. One of my favorites is a gold beaded table runner that will look beautiful down the middle of our dining room table. I'm really into the traditional look for Christmas Decorating and tend to stay with the standard gold, silver, red colors when it comes to my decorating. It is also nice to shop at a retailer that gives back to there communities, Pier 1 is looking out for kids in need this Christmas with promotions online and in-store. You can donate any new unwrapped toy at your local Pier 1 store. Online you can like Pier 1 on face book and Pier 1 will donate $1 to the Toys for Tots Program

A delicious new treat
Remembering back to the good ol days and the treats we loved as kids my husband brought up pudding pops. He used to have these every summer, especially the Jello brand with "Bill Cosby". Trying to figure out how to recreate these for the kids was a challange but with a little google search we found the solution and it was simple. Make Jello pudding as per the directions and pour it into freeze pop makers, try it you'll love them, our favorite Pistachio.
