OMG.......

.....That pretty much sums it up!
No I can't leave it at that....How did it all start? Right. I woke up this morning....skip ahead....
After running on the treadmill and walking downstairs my husband tells me that we need to take Trinity to the hospital to have her throat checked. She said it hurt for the past couple of days (first I heard of it) and Matt saw a big white spot at the back of her throat and thought that it was strep throat. So I rushed to get ready and we dropped the other kids off at school and went down to his work to say goodbye to one of his staff that has been working there for I think it was 27 years...anyway...after that we sat and waited in the emergency room (we don't have a doctor yet) and we waited from 9:30am until after 1:30pm just to be told that she had a cold....What? I didn't think to check her out before we left home to see what was going on, I just took hubby's word on it. Nope no fever, throat wasn't red, no cough...just a cold. I guess better safe than sorry and with her dance competition coming up he didn't want to take any chances with her getting sick.
So we left the hospital and rushed to get something to eat, I was almost to the point of fainting I was so hungry and McDonald's it was and so much for my fajita combo, I went with a fattening Big Mac Combo and I felt like crap after eating it and couldn't wait to get on the treadmill but first I had to pick the kids up at school, get Trinity's homework, and wait for some of the boys on the basketball team to drive them to their game. Oh by this time I just wanted to go home and curl up on the couch but they needed me to drive so Basketball it was. They were short some players which made it harder and the boys lost but played a great game.
Left there and headed back home with an end in sight to all my running around for the day.....nope I'm almost home and remember that I had a blouse on hold at Reitmans that I had to pick up by tonight so I dropped off the older kids to start homework and headed back to the mall. My God I was beat....After trying on the blouse I was undecided on whether or not I wanted it. With losing some weight and lots of inches I am finally starting to feel good (great) about myself but I didn't get the impression of wow (or anything) from hubby when I tried the blouse on with my little black backless vest (my somewhat sexy something for our dance show lol). I suddenly felt like crap and self conscious once again and left without the blouse and almost crying. Home at last and gave the kids a quick bowl of soup, they got their homework done and watched tv in their bedrooms to settle down while I ran my ass off on the treadmill. I relieved some (lots) of stress and was feeling much better. I think I needed that run earlier today!
So now the kids are in bed and I am going to have a yogurt and wait until I have to pick up hubby at work then it is off to bed for me. OMG What a day! Hubby is off tomorrow and I AM NOT going anywhere!

FINALLY....A MINUTE AT THE COMPUTER!

So all the excitement started Friday night after the kids hip hop class, when they took part in a church winter Bible camp. We spent from 6-8 pm singing songs, playing games, crafts, snacks and Bible stories ( I stayed to help out with Blake) then back on Saturday from 2-4pm doing the same things and again back Sunday morning from 10-12pm. Points were kept track of for prizes on Sunday but I talked it over with the kids that since all the other kids didn't have much that it would be nice for them to be able to win the big prizes (HUGE teddy bears and snowboard) they were fine with that and agreed that it was a good idea. So the kids didn't to anything extra to earn points then came award time.....Drum roll GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR....

First name Trinity Smith! OMG if you could have seen the look on my face, that wasn't suppose to happen??????and where in the heck am I going to put that bear?????lol Apparently she was so well behaved and polite as were my other 3 children that they got points for that as well, oops I guess I forgot to tell her to act up like the rest. Now you have to understand that this church is all older people and an attendance Sunday morning of about 12 (no seriously) they reach out to children who done have a lot and there parents aren't really there for them so for them to see our children there they were so excited to see such well rounded children join them. You never know maybe we will become a part of this church and help make a difference!

The kids had a great time and are looking forward to the summer vacation Bible school.
So yes it was busy but it didn't stop there but I was so EXHAUSTED that I was in bed sleeping by 9:00pm.
Oh what I will do for my children....Today I drove my hubby to work before the kids went to school, came back picked them up then dropped them off at school. That was hectic enough...Then I rushed home, took a shower (Blake actually let me shower alone lol) then rushed back out the door to pick up two of the kids at school, took Trinity to work with her father so that he could walk across the street to take her to her eye appointment while I went back to the skating rink to meet the school. The kids skated for an hour as a part of their winter carnival week then went back to school. (the weather here was FREEZING) left there in time to go pick hubby and my daughter up at the eye doctor to go get her new glasses done. Wow, I need to sit for a minute, McDonald's it was I didn't care as long as I was sitting. Trinity and Blake played in the play park for awhile before we rushed back to the van to take Matt back to work.

Oh I am not heading home yet....there is still more. I dropped hubby off just in time to go back to the school to pick up my little guy in kindergarten then waited for the second bell to drive some of the boys basketball team to their game at another school, which I had no idea how to get there...Thank God that by this time poor little Blake was so tired that he couldn't act up and he sat on my knee the whole time and played his v-smile games. Good news...Jays basketball team won the game 76 to 47, Way to go Jaguars!!!!!!!!!!!

Left there and drove home the two extra boys I had, dropped Jay and Trinity off home then picked Matt up at work. Finally home! Big sigh of relief! Not.....unpack book bags, start homework and supper, get the kids showered and ready for bed, watched a show with the boys then tucked the kids in bed. Yes the day finally came to an end and here I am watching a movie (Mr and Mrs. Smith) with Jay and playing around on my blog. I think I will have to let Jay watch the rest of the movie in his room and I will head off to bed :0) Sounds great!
This is just an idea of how the rest of this week is going to go! Thank God Spring break is next week. (oh wait that won't be any less busy, we are going away...sigh)
