OMG.......

.....That pretty much sums it up!
No I can't leave it at that....How did it all start? Right. I woke up this morning....skip ahead....
After running on the treadmill and walking downstairs my husband tells me that we need to take Trinity to the hospital to have her throat checked. She said it hurt for the past couple of days (first I heard of it) and Matt saw a big white spot at the back of her throat and thought that it was strep throat. So I rushed to get ready and we dropped the other kids off at school and went down to his work to say goodbye to one of his staff that has been working there for I think it was 27 years...anyway...after that we sat and waited in the emergency room (we don't have a doctor yet) and we waited from 9:30am until after 1:30pm just to be told that she had a cold....What? I didn't think to check her out before we left home to see what was going on, I just took hubby's word on it. Nope no fever, throat wasn't red, no cough...just a cold. I guess better safe than sorry and with her dance competition coming up he didn't want to take any chances with her getting sick.
So we left the hospital and rushed to get something to eat, I was almost to the point of fainting I was so hungry and McDonald's it was and so much for my fajita combo, I went with a fattening Big Mac Combo and I felt like crap after eating it and couldn't wait to get on the treadmill but first I had to pick the kids up at school, get Trinity's homework, and wait for some of the boys on the basketball team to drive them to their game. Oh by this time I just wanted to go home and curl up on the couch but they needed me to drive so Basketball it was. They were short some players which made it harder and the boys lost but played a great game.
Left there and headed back home with an end in sight to all my running around for the day.....nope I'm almost home and remember that I had a blouse on hold at Reitmans that I had to pick up by tonight so I dropped off the older kids to start homework and headed back to the mall. My God I was beat....After trying on the blouse I was undecided on whether or not I wanted it. With losing some weight and lots of inches I am finally starting to feel good (great) about myself but I didn't get the impression of wow (or anything) from hubby when I tried the blouse on with my little black backless vest (my somewhat sexy something for our dance show lol). I suddenly felt like crap and self conscious once again and left without the blouse and almost crying. Home at last and gave the kids a quick bowl of soup, they got their homework done and watched tv in their bedrooms to settle down while I ran my ass off on the treadmill. I relieved some (lots) of stress and was feeling much better. I think I needed that run earlier today!
So now the kids are in bed and I am going to have a yogurt and wait until I have to pick up hubby at work then it is off to bed for me. OMG What a day! Hubby is off tomorrow and I AM NOT going anywhere!

Hubby's just suck sometimes! If you feel sexy in something, you should get it. Guys are just goobers sometimes!

(((hugs)))

Oh, and glad to hear trinity only has a cold. I love watching her dance; she is so good!
And you're pretty good too!

Well, it's good she just has a cold, but I know how it is to sit in an emergency room based on my husband's assessment! Been there, done that. Woo woo woo...

I hope you get some rest! Oh... and I almost cried when I saw that you left the store almost in tears. I'm sure it looked fabulous!

Jenn and Petula...if I can bring myself to do it...I will post a picture. That is again if I get a blouse to wear under the vest! LOL

I agree with Jenn and also think that when trying things on at the store is somewhat a downer as well. I NEVER try anything on at the store because it ALWAYS looks different than it does when you get it home! Dressing room mirrors are EVIL! And as for hubby....smack em;o)

Husbands don't notice anything until you point it out to them. If you like the shirt then get it. I hope you have a relaxing day today! :o)
