Our new bedroom is almost finish, we just have the baseboard molding to put up and then the ceiling (that will not happen right away ....money....). We were up until 2:00am this morning getting the carpet down but it was well worth the time. The room now has that cozy feeling to it and I just love the color and it was cheap it only cost us $30 to pain the entire room, can't be that recycled paint LOL. Anyway I still lots of cleaning to do and hubby will be home a few minutes so I better get back to work. What a long process this room has turned out to be but I love it!
getting the paint on the walls...
laying the carpet piece by piece....this is a new type of carpet that makes it easy to install yourself....the angle to get into the room with a large roll of carpet was to hard to get it in so we went with this solution. I just hope we are happy with it, so far so good but in certain lighting we can still see the seems. This we can live with because we didn't want to put laminate flooring down on the cold concrete. See what happens?
Looks great doesn't it! The kids played on it all morning!

That looks great! I've never heard of that type of carpet before, but it looks easier then laying down a large roll of carpet.
