Friday night and nothing to do. That's not like us! I was starting to get frustrated with my hair so early Friday I had bought a box of hair dye and with the kids all tucked into bed Matt my husband volunteered to put the color in my hair...sure why not, I couldn't see how he could mess up! It didn't turn out bad at all...as you can see in the second picture taken by my 5 year old son...He said the next morning "mom you are beautiful, I love your new hair, let me take a picture of you" so that's the picture of me and 3 year old Blake.... One thing you don't notice in the picture is that my hair isn't only a darker shade of brown without highlights...but it is also GREEN! LOL I made the mistake and bought hair dye with ash in it...oh well I got highlights put in Saturday and the green is no longer noticeable...No Matt didn't do the highlights....he was going to :0) I took the kit back and went to Smart Style...It worked out great they gave me a free hair cut...

I used to dye my own hair too, back in college when I couldn't afford to go to the salon. Now I don't mess with it on my own and just go directly to the hairstylist, lol.
